Winter is looming with it grey skies and early sunsets. Even though you may be stuck inside, here are some tips to maximize the cozy-factor of your home.

  1. Embrace the season- this means bring in seasonal scents with candles. Bonus, the candles add a warm glow to your space. Just make sure to practice fire safety while burning candles.
  2. Cook up some comfort food- this is your excuse to make that extra cheesy mac and cheese or keep it classic with grilled cheese and tomato soup.
  3. Breakout board games- winter provides the perfect opportunity to cozy up in front of a fire and play a game of Monopoly with the family.
  4. Create you go-to hot drink- Hot cocoa, hot apple cider, hot toddies. All of these are classic winter drinks that are sure to warm you up on the coldest nights.
  5. Add some warmth and texture- Snuggle up in the fluffiest blanket you can find all while watching your favorite seasonal movie.
  6. Enjoy sweater weather- wear your favorite sweater all season long and stay warm! Bonus points if you have matching socks!
