Heath Hammond

Heath’s love of finance started when he was young as his grandmother used to have him count change back to customers at the age of four at the supermarket they owned and has grown from there.  After obtaining his Bachelors’ with a major in business management from North Georgia College, Heath tried a couple of careers, but ended up in the automobile industry as a salesperson and worked his way to finance office where he spent eight years eventually becoming a general sales manager. After about 15 years in the car business, Cindy Vandiver talked him into coming into the Mortgage Business in 2014 and he has found his career.

He recognizes that people buying a car is their second largest purchase they will make in life most of the time and buying a home is their largest. Heath says, “the biggest difference in the auto vs. mortgage industry is you are expected to finalize financing in hours but with mortgages you have days. It is such a joy to get a file from start to finish and assist customers with all the documents they have to provide to get to the closing table.  The best is when you finally get there and see the faces of those who have just achieved their dreams.”  Heath recognizes that his customers are under so much stress throughout this process and does his best to keep them at ease. His team tries to make the process easy and stress free as possible through good communication throughout the process and constant support of his customers.
