Reconsideration of Value

At Stockton Mortgage, we’re committed to an accurate, fair, and unbiased appraisal process. If you’re in the process of securing your home loan with Stockton Mortgage and have received your full appraisal report but have questions or concerns, we’re here to support you.

Your Mortgage Loan Originator has likely reviewed the appraisal report with you. If you believe a Reconsideration of Value (“ROV”) is appropriate based on any of the following criteria, please complete the form below within 30 days of receiving your report. This allows us adequate time to ensure all the information needed is submitted for review.

Reasons for Requesting a Reconsideration of Value:

  • The initial appraisal didn’t include recent comparable sales.
  • The property’s condition wasn’t accurately represented.
  • Factual discrepancies were identified in the appraisal report.
  • Additional data or comparable sales are available for review.
  • You have concerns about bias or discrimination in the appraisal process.

Supporting Evidence May Include:

  • Recent comparable sales (if closed within the past 12 months).
  • Photographs of the property.
  • Documentation of any relevant property improvements.
  • Any other pertinent information that supports your request.
